There have been so many things written about lost love, yet none of them really resonate with us…until we have lost a love of our own. Then, all of a sudden, all of the books, poems, movies and songs make so much more sense; they really speak to us. If you have recently gone through a divorce or a break up, then there is hope.

While it’s not enough to make you feel 100% better, you can take at least a small measure of comfort from knowing that you are not alone. Countless people have had to deal with the same thing. Granted, no two situations are exactly the same, just as no two people are the same. However, there has been enough shared heartache over the centuries that some really good advice has been handed down.

Of course you feel awful, and that’s perfectly normal. Guilt, anger, shame, confusion, doubt, sadness, depression, relief, and any number of other emotions all mix together. You’re not really sure what to make of it. Sometimes you do quite well, and other times it’s so painful that it seems as though you will never be the same again. Take heart! Just because you have lost love doesn’t mean you have lost your mind…at least not permanently.

Take some time to get away from everything. Now, that doesn’t mean you should crawl into a corner and wallow in self-pity. But you should try to clear your mind of the break for a while. If you have any vacation time from work, then now may be a good time to take it. A small vacation where you aren’t surrounded by constant reminders of your past relationship is a good way to get the fresh perspective you need.

When you come back you can start to look at the relationship again. The key is not get too worked up about it. If you find that you get over-emotional when thinking about it, then take a break, and return to it when you are ready again. You must work through this.

The reason working through it is so important is that it’s the only way to get past it. It may seem impossible, but it can be done. You must confront those feelings, and the events that caused your lost love. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. Each time you do it, you will find your feelings improving little by little.

The truth is that it doesn’t work for everybody, so what if this isn’t enough to make you feel better? Then it’s time to get help from someone else. This can be a friend, member of the clergy or a counselor. Whom you choose isn’t as important as the fact that you’re getting some help. There is no reason why you need to feel miserable forever after a break up. And whether you ever try to work things out or not, getting back to some sense of normalcy will only make you better in the long run.

How To Win Back Lost Love and Then Keep It

Lost Love

Are you missing your partner?

How to win back lost love is a question we all ask at some point in our lives. The good news is that if you use a good source of material like the “Magic of Making Up”, it is a question you will be able to answer.

People fall out of love for all sorts of reasons but the funny thing is that it is rarely the big items, like an affair, which causes partners to fall out. It is more likely to happen because they got bored or felt taken for granted, neglected or ignored. Sometimes someone else comes along who has the time to flatter them and before you know it an affair has taken place.

We can all be guilty of leaving our partners out of our lives. We expect them to put up with whatever we dish out; as they love us right? Well they may love us but if we continually put the world and it’s mother before them they will get fed up of us being selfish and may decide to look elsewhere.

You have to be sensitive to your partners needs. He or she is entitled to expect to come way up high on your priority list as they are supposed to be the special someone in your life. If your ex has left you to be with someone else you need to understand why. what did this person offer that you didn’t? It could be something as simple as paying her some compliments or attention.

Women crave certain behavior and if their current partners don’t provide it on a consistent basis, they will look elsewhere. You need to know these secrets to a successful relationship and reading books such as the magic of making up will help you to become a better partner and lover. Sex is a small word but it creates huge problems. Women often withdraw from making love when they are unhappy with another aspect of their relationship. Men see this withdrawal as an insult and often believe their mate just doesn’t fancy them anymore. This can lead them into the arms of another woman.

There are many reasons why communication between a man and a woman gets tangled up and doesn’t work as well as it should. Our brains are wired differently and we make assumptions based on past feelings and situations rather than just on the situation we are currently faced with.

We need help when our relationships go wrong but often people are not willing to discuss their relationship with a third party. They fear they may get blamed for things going wrong but that is not the role of the counsellor. Their job is to act as a mediator between the both of you.

If you are determined to win back lost love, first start with reading the magic of making up and see how soon you can convince your ex partner back into your bed and your life.

If you have a special song as a couple, including that as the last song on the CD can remind your ex of happier times.

Heartbroken songs are the perfect songs after you’ve broken up with the person that you love. You don’t feel like listening to anything cheerier. In fact, some cheerier songs can only make things worse because you’re reminded of the good times you had together. You may even try your hand at writing heartbroken songs after your break up.

Heartbroken songs are an old tradition, reaching back to probably the day man discovered music and singing. And to the day he discovered broken hearts. If you’re not comfortable trying to come up with an entire song or you have trouble rhyming, you can always write a poem instead.

You can even write your ex a long letter in which you express yourself, if you feel a poem or song is just too hard or too far removed from that they would actually expect of you. But if you can make up a song that truly expresses how you feel then you should go for it.

If you’ve ever had someone write a poem or a song for you, you know how great it feels. So the idea that you would make up heartbroken songs might really move your ex to think about what’s going on. They’re sure to be touched in some say by the gesture, at least.

To write these songs, you only need to write poetry and then put it to music. You have to write the words, but you don’t have to be able to write music. Just come up with a melody and sing the songs to that melody. If you can’t come up with a melody of your own, then pick a melody from a favorite song and write new words for it.

Still, writing songs isn’t for everyone. Fortunately there have been millions of them written for you already! You probably already have a few favorites that you like to listen to. Now they might have an entirely new meaning when you listen to them.

There’s a good chance that your ex will find new meaning in them too, since you’ve broken up. You could burn a CD of several sad songs about break ups and send it to him or her with a letter. The thing that makes this so effective is that you’ll very carefully choose the songs you include.

Just because a song is sad and about a breakup doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to include it. Really listen to the words and the sentiment behind them. Then choose songs that especially fit your situation.

I can really be effective to choose a few sad songs about the relationship being strained or ending, and include a really uplifting love song among them. If you have a special song as a couple, including that as the last song on the CD can remind your ex of happier times.

Heartbroken songs are there to help you heal, but if you use them correctly they may help you get back together with your ex.

Three tips to dealing with your broken heart after a breakup.

When faced with a true, final breakup, it’s likely that you will also feel a physical pain: the broken heart.

Besides the true ache of lost love you may also feel:

unrelenting sadness

food has lost it’s flavor and loss of appetite

your interest cannot be held for long on the things that once brought you joy and happiness

listlessness and boredom

inner peace with listening to depressing music (try anything by “The Smiths”) and reading depressing, sad poetry and novels but yet a lack of joy in your daily routine

There is no time like now to release your inner demons and look forward to another day.

As hard as the truth is, life does go on.

You need to find your path again, find your purpose again.

But take your time, you need to heal. You need to find yourself again, the one you were before you were in a couple.

Follow these three steps to regain your emotional and physical health again.

1 – STOP everything you are doing (after competing this article, of course) and get a blank piece of paper. On this paper you need to write down exactly how you are feeling about your breakup. Continue writing on this paper but let’s move to the third person point of view. Write down what has happened as if you were a spectator only. As if you are outside of yourself watching everything happen. Try to capture every action, every seen emotion, every step of the breaking up, even if your story starts days or weeks earlier in time.

2 – Plan a treat day for yourself. This day will be for yourself, a treat day of things that you have held off doing, for whatever reason, and you now have the time and a lack of someone holding you back. This might be a shopping day, a day of travel, a day of entertainment. Do this one day for yourself, with no other goal than to enjoy what was unavailable to you before. A makeover, haircut, pedicure, trip to the museum, travel to another town, you name it, this day is for you. Even if you can’t do this day immediately, you can plan for it to happen soon.

3 – Decide to be available for what life has next for you. The secret of life is that it holds many surprises and you have to be open, and capable, of accepting the new challenges that come your way. Giving up and just “letting things happen” can no longer be a viable alternative to making the decisions in your life, that will affect the rest of your life. You will have made the positive decision to meet the challenges in your life head on when you no longer shirk from responsibility. Stand up, dust yourself off and smile into the sun. You are ready to shine!

You can and will heal from your broken heart but this takes time and a personal understanding that you can accept the hand that life has dealt you. And that you can and will take the steps forward to make your life a fun life again.

3 steps toward a new you, a new life, disposal of the old you and onto the new you.

Only YOU can make the decision to move forward… and YOU do need to move forward.
